Mark it down
- Southern California Trojans quarterback Mark Sanchez is the No. 2 overall pick, regardless of which team holds the selection.
- Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Andre Smith is a top-10 draft pick.
- No fewer than five and likely six offensive tackles will be drafted in the first round.
- Rutgers University wide receiver Kenny Britt will be a first-round choice.
- Southern California Trojans linebacker Clay Matthews will not be a first-round pick but will be the best of the USC linebackers when all is said and done.

UConn's Donald Brown is ready to light up the NFL.
- Connecticut Huskies tailback Donald Brown will be the No. 1 fantasy back out of this draft class at the end of the 2009 season.
- Georgia Tech defensive end Michael Johnson will be a first-round pick.
- Florida Gator’s wideout Percy Harvin will not slip out of the first round.
- The Green Bay Packers will trade out of their No. 9 pick (shocker, huh?).
- The University of Connecticut will boast no fewer than two and likely three first-round selections.
- The Oakland Raiders will draft a wideout in the first round to complete their set of triplets on offense.
- The San Francisco 49ers do not draft a quarterback on the first day.
- Penn State defensive end/outside linebacker Aaron Maybin will be viewed as a bust after a just a few seasons.
- Arizona Cardinals wideout Anquan Boldin will not be involved in a draft-day trade.
- Southern California Trojans quarterback Mark Sanchez will wind up being a better long-term player than the University of Georgia’s Matthew Stafford.
- West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Pat White will not only be drafted as a quarterback, but he will start a Week 1 game at the position by his third year in the league.
- University of Virginia running back Cedric Peerman will be a legitimate fantasy pickup and contributor in 2009, regardless of where he plays.
