Brady, who suffered a shoulder injury during New England’s third preseason game, told reporters that he expects to play when the Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills in the season opener on Sunday, September 13. At the time of the injury Brady had completed 12 of 19 passes for 150 yards and found Randy Moss in the end zone on two different occasions.
Bruno Boys Take: Brady’s injured shoulder seems to be a minor concern in New England and it shouldn’t be a concern for those who either own him or are targeting him in their upcoming fantasy football drafts. Brady has looked stellar all preseason and the Patriots’ offense is already starting to resemble that of the record breaking 2007 season. Brady currently sits at No.3 in our quarterback rankings, behind Drew Brees and Peyton Manning, but many fantasy owners are targeting him as the top overall QB. It’s a matter of preference because any of the top tier QBs (Brees, Manning, Brady) will give you an edge at QB over your competition.
